Via Thun
Take the train to Thun Railway Station, head on with the STI bus, line 21, to “Beatenbucht”, then transfer to the funicular railway and cable car, respectively.

Via Interlaken
Take the train to Interlaken West Railway Station, head on by PostAuto, line 101, to “Beatenberg Station”, then transfer to the cable car, taking you up to the Niederhorn. As an alternative, take the STI bus from Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West , line 21, to “Beatenbucht”, then head on with the funicular railway and cable car.

Take the STI bus line 21 from Thun Railway Station or Interlaken Ost to “Beatenbucht”.

To get to the Niederhorn from Thun, the STI ticket shop offers a discounted combined ticket (only available at the STI ticket shop at Thun Railway Station).

To Beatenberg
From Interlaken West, take PostAuto line 101 to “Beatenberg Station”, then transfer to the cable car, taking you up to the Niederhorn.

The boat takes you across Lake Thun to “Beatenbucht” from Interlaken West, Thun or another landing stage.

Holders of the Beatenberg Guest Ticket can get a discount on Niederhornbahn AG tickets. In addition, you can, taking the PostAuto (Public Bus of Swiss Postal Service), line 101, travel for free on the route from Interlaken West to Beatenberg Station.

Habkern guest ticket

Holders of the Habkern guest ticket receive a discount on Niederhornbahn AG tickets. In addition, you travel free of charge on the route Habkern to Beatenberg, station with the PostBus.

Accessibility

Thanks to disabled-access facilities, people with reduced mobility can reach the Niederhorn without any problems. The journey on the Niederhornbahn is barrier-free for travellers from Beatenbucht to the Niederhorn mountain station (exception: Vorsass middle station).
